Emotions can be your enemy or your friend

Dear reader

Ancient Chinese wisdom passed into the Taoist Meditation practices that I use on a daily basis, teach us how to work with our emotions so they become our strength instead of our downfall.

I see the results of stressful emotions on my patients organs as I work with them to resolve their health challenges.

In the negative realm here are the emotions that drag down your organs:

1. Heart – hastiness, impatience, arrogance, and hatred

2. Spleen/pancreas – worry and anxiety

3. Lungs – sadness and grief

4. Kidneys – fear

5. Liver – anger

And here are the virtue energy antidotes to those toxic negative emotions:

1. Heart – love, joy, and happiness

2. Spleen/pancreas – balance – harmony and the sweetness of life

3. Lungs – courage

4. Kidneys – gentleness

5. Liver – kindness

When you match those up, for instance, you find that if you are impatient, be good to your heart by doing something that makes you happy. If you’re worried or anxious look for a way to savor the sweetness of life. When you’re sad, be courageous. If you’re feeling fear, treat yourself gently. And when angry perform an act of kindness either for yourself or for another.

Easier said than done you say? Of course you’re right. But the more you practice the virtue energies while releasing the negative energies the greater harmony you will create in your body, mind, heart, and life.

There are specific Taoist practices to create the path to make your emotions your friends. Fusion 1 teaches you to drain and transform negative emotions by blending complementary energies. With this practice, you will charge your batteries with increased vitality instead of harboring bad feelings.

Fusion 2 teaches you to grow virtue energies in your organs. This is called the Creation Cycle. To master these techniques, you must practice the fundamentals of the Six Healing Sounds, and the Inner Smile, plus the Microcosmic Orbit.
